Applications
Where our services are used
Our services are used wherever fixtures, grippers and robots have to work together reliably – in body-in-white, in windshield bonding and when modifying existing stations.
Body-in-white (Z1, Z2, Z3)
Geometry, respot and checking fixtures plus handling and transfer grippers for underbody, framing and closures.
Windshield bonding
Glass grippers and glass-setting fixtures with vacuum cups, form nests and sensors – validated in simulation.
Retrofit and modification
Survey, reverse engineering and modification documentation of existing stations for new parts and processes.
New lines
Design and simulation capacity for integrators and equipment builders on new stations and lines.
Typical tasks
Examples from practice
The following examples describe typical, anonymised tasks. They are not customer references.
Example
Modifying a respot fixture for a new derivative
Situation: The fixture is to be used for an additional part, but current 3D data is missing.
Approach: 3D scan during a production window, as-built CAD model, modification design and modification documentation.
Result: Modification based on a clear change list instead of a new fixture.
Example
Glass gripper for windshield bonding
Situation: A new glass geometry requires an adapted gripper.
Approach: Gripper design with vacuum cups and form nests, reachability and collision checks in simulation.
Result: A validated gripper with drawings and bill of materials.
Example
New geometry station
Situation: A new station needs fixtures and a reliable cycle-time statement.
Approach: Fixture design, cycle-time estimation in simulation, sequence and function plan.
Result: Design and sequences are aligned before manufacturing.
Example
Documenting a station that has grown over time
Situation: A station adapted over the years is no longer traceably documented.
Approach: Scan, as-built documentation, drawings, bill of materials and function plan.
Result: Up-to-date documents for maintenance and future modifications.
