3D laser scan

CAD + drawings

Undocumented fixtures and grippers become usable 3D and 2D so they can be modified or remade.

Typical deliverables:

On-site scan (production window)

As-built mesh + CAD rebuild (solids where parts will be remade)

Optional nominal / manufacturable CAD for the rebuild

Assembly drawings, details, bill of materials

Deviation report (scan vs CAD)

BIW HANDLING, WELDING AND GLAZING

Grippers

Handling between stations, hang-on, geometry transfer

Glass grippers: vacuum cups, form nests, sensors, adhesive keep-out

Flange / tool changer, collision envelope, part-present / vacuum monitoring

Fixtures

Geometry, respot, checking, rework, sealing, and glass-set fixtures

Locator scheme (pins, NC blocks, rest pads), clamps, load/unload

Base frame, floor fix, media (air, vacuum, 24 V)

New steel or rebuild of existing stations

Z1 / Z2 / Z3 (body-in-white) and glass bonding (glazing)G

Manufacturing and rebuild documentation

We cover:

Existing fixtures and grippers with no 3D documentation

Worn, shimmed, or crash-repaired tools that no longer match any drawing

Tools you want to reuse instead of buying a full new station

Change of purpose: new part, new locators, new clamps, new robot interface, new process

HOW WE WORK

From undocumented steel to a tool you can rebuild — or reuse for something else

Target CAD + change list

If 3D is missing or untrustworthy, we take a 3D laser scan of the existing tool.

We model the tool in 3D: solids for parts that will be remade; mesh-in-place for surroundings that only need collision.

We reconstruct function, not only shape: locators, clamps, media, sensors, wear parts, what can be reused vs what must be new.

We re-design: keep what still works, change geometry and interfaces so the tool can be used for another part, station, or process.

Bill of materials

BOM at a named revision

We create a BOM from the CAD — manufactured parts and bought-outs (cylinders, pins, cups, sensors) marked manufacturer or TBD.

06

Documention

Manufacturing data

We issue manufacturing documentation (make / inspect) and rebuild documentation (before → change → after, strip-down and reassembly).
